The Alpines | Salt Lake City, UT

Let’s hear it for our 2026 Freya Fair Headliner!

The Alpines are a Salt Lake City alternative rock duo built for the stage. Bri McCall’s performances are emotional and direct — she doesn’t play “pretty,” she tells the story and pulls the room into it. Danny Patiño anchors the set with precise, dialed-in guitar work that gives the songs weight and control, even at full volume. Their sound is unmistakably their own. Together, they create shows where people actually engage — conversations stop, people dance, and rooms lock in whether they’ve heard the band before or not.

Recently named to Salt Lake City Weekly’s “IT” list, their latest release Dying Star has been called “fresh, alive and absolutely magnetic,” blending moody indie rock with melody-driven hooks and real emotional pull. It’s a focused, high-impact duo that leaves audiences wide-eyed and wanting more.
